Frequently Asked Questions

🌲 Where is DLWC?

Where are the camps located?

Debsconeag Lake Wilderness Camps are on Fourth Debsconeag Lake in the heart of the North Maine Woods. By car, we’re about 1 ¾ hours from Millinocket or 2 ¾ hours from Bangor. You can also fly directly into Fourth Debsconeag Lake via Katahdin Air Service, making the camps accessible from anywhere.

As the only development on the lake and surrounded by protected lands, we take seriously our role as stewards of this pristine wilderness.

Enjoy a peaceful, remote setting amidst conservation lands managed by the State of Maine and The Nature Conservancy.
