Fishing

WELCOME, FISHERMEN!

The North Maine Woods is home to a spread of remote lakes, ponds, rivers, and streams that offer world-class fishing to fishermen of all levels and abilities – and we are happy to host you as a home base between expeditions! Guests are free to use the canoes (at 3rd, 4th, and 5th Debsconeag Lakes) as well as kayaks, and paddleboards at 4th Deb!

Whether you prefer fly or spin-casting, native brook trout, lake trout (togue), and salmon fishing opportunities await you at Debsconeag Lake Camps.

Nestled in the 100-mile wilderness of the North Maine Woods, we have canoes, sit-on top kayaks and small aluminum boats available for use at several remote lake fishing locations.

Many wading streams, ponds, and the world class Penobscot River are only a short distance away.

Book your stay at Fourth Debsconeag Lake and gain access to unlimited fishing adventures through sea plane flights with Katahdin Air!
