Paddling

KEEP CALM AND PADDLE ON

Minimal motor boat traffic and seclusion from wind make Fourth Debsconeag Lake a pristine space for paddling. Whether you’re finding your zen with paddle board yoga or portaging to explore our neighboring waters, we’re happy to offer several vessels to fuel whatever type of paddling adventure you choose!

Stand, kneel, or sit – the choice is yours! However you choose to operate, paddle-boarding is a great way to get some exercise and explore the views offered on Fourth Debsconeag Lake.

We provide both sit-on-top and sit-in recreational kayaks for campers to paddle on the lake. Enjoy a casual paddle, stop and take in views of Mt. Katahdin, or cast a line and see what you reel in!

If you’re looking for a team-paddling activity, grab a partner and borrow a canoe. Whether it’s a lunch date on the water or portaging to Third Debsconeag Lake to try a new fishing spot, canoes are an excellent choice for all levels of paddler!
